How your money helps
Our Christmas Raffle helps support our work of helping sick, injured and abandoned dogs. Every raffle ticket bought or sold means an extra £1 to help look after the dogs in our care.
K9 Rescue is a registered charity dedicated to creating a better future for dogs in need. We receive no funding from the government or National Lottery; the support we provide is funded entirely by the generosity and goodwill of animal lovers worldwide.
Without the infrastructure to undertake large volume rescue, we have taken the initiative to focus on the most difficult, neediest cases; the old, critically sick, neglected, abused or dogs that are problematic in some way, referred on to us by other rescuers; dogs that would otherwise by euthanised, deemed as having no future. As a result, unlike many other rescues, we don’t re-home hundreds of dogs as these dogs often take months to rehabilitate, making it very difficult to have a steady flow of income, and as a result we are rarely able to cover costs.
Raffle tickets are therefore a vital source of income for K9 Rescue, the money raised directly helps save the life of dogs in need that would otherwise simply have no chance at all. Thank you for your support!
